BBQ Green Beans






  • 12 oz. pkg. frozen "steamable" green beans
  • 5 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1 T. worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1/8 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 C. chopped onions
  • 1/4 C. brown sugar
  • 1/2 C. ketchup


How to Make It

  • Steam the green beans according to pkg.
  • directions.
  • In a skillet, add the bacon and cook till it begins to get crisp, add in the onion and cook for 2-3 minutes, drain off the bacon grease.
  • To the pan, add the brown sugar, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, vinegar and mustard.
  • Stir to combine well.
  • Reduce the heat to low and add the green beans to the pan, stirring to coat in the sauce.
  • Cook for 5 minutes, season with the pepper before serving.
