Polish sausage , Sauerkraut and potatoes






What You'll Need


  • two (14 ounce) cans sauerkraut, undrained (or 1 (2 pound) bag)
  • one pound Polish sausage, cut into chunks (could use smoked sausage)
  • one teaspoon caraway seeds
  • one bay leaf
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • five or 6 potatoes, peeled and cut into large chunks
  • one cup water


How to Make It

  • Place sauerkraut and potatoes in slow cooker, add spices and water.
  • Place sausage on top.
  • Cook 4 hours on high or about 6 hours on low or until potatoes are tender
